This is and interview of an extreme sport athlete.  Very interesting and pay close attention to when he is asked what would make him stop and what the risks are.  Never does he talk about the emotional danger.

Attached is a video further explaining cortisol and what stress can do to the brain if continued for long periods of time. This relates to extreme sports because stress is triggered in life threatening situations.

Extreme Sports

If some are having trouble figuring out exactly what extreme sports are or how it can cause such stress I have an awesome video attached to people doing extreme sports.  In the video just watching the  tapes of these athletes can give you a feeling of anxiety in the situation… Scary.  These athletes are amazing.
